Hydraulic Lock Pressure Valve

A lock valve sits between the control valve and the cylinder and holds pressure when the lever returns to neutral. On a loaded front end loader, tipping trolley or lift platform this is what stops the arm creeping down under weight, and what holds the load if a hose lets go.

• Fitted on JIC front end loaders, tipping trolleys and lifting platforms
• Holds the cylinder position with the engine off
• Acts as a safety device against hose burst on a raised load
• Supplied with the fittings needed to splice into an existing circuit

Where it is used

Any machine that lifts and holds a load should have one. JIC fits them as part of the hydraulic package and supplies them separately for machines already in service.
